GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard to monitor security systems, patrol premises, and control access across diverse sites. The role emphasizes sharp observation, prompt incident response, and detailed reporting in fast-paced environments.

The position is part-time with potential growth into a full-time role, offering uniform provision and opportunities for career development via GardaWorld Academy.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification required.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Good eyesight and concentration.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Work with law enforcement in case of emergencies.

Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard

What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays (08:00 - 20:00)

Location: L0M 1S0
