GardaWorld in Fort McMurray, Alberta, seeks an Industrial Fulltime Surveillance Security Guard to monitor security systems, detect threats, and document incidents with thorough reports. The role covers security operation centres, construction sites, parking areas and gatehouses, and requires sharp observation and strong attention to detail.

The position offers a wage of 24.61 CAD per hour, 12‑hour shifts on a 6 on/6 off schedule, transportation and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid Alberta security license.
• Standard First aid level C certification.
• CSO (Common safety Orientation).
• Clean Driver Abstract.
• Clean shaven to be fit testing for an N95 mask.
• Be able to pass a drug test.
• OHS Alberta Legislation Awareness.
• Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness.
• Wood Buffalo Intermediate Awareness.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
