Come work as a Surgical Assistant with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)! This is an opportunity to join the RHS On-call Surgical Assistant roster, assisting with emergency surgeries at Richmond Hospital.
Richmond Hospital is a fully accredited, 228-bed acute care facility serving a population of 200,000, with an additional catchment area of nearly 120,000. The hospital focuses on meeting community needs and is seeking Physicians interested in Surgical Assistance in the Operating Room for emergency services. The successful candidate will join the Emergency Slate On Call Group for Surgical Assistants within the Department of Family Medicine or Surgery (if not a family physician) and will participate in a call rota. Opportunities for elective surgeries may be available in the future.
Qualified individuals must meet call demands, participate in orientation, and shadow current on-call surgical assistants during training.
