Opportunity to join the RHS On-call Surgical Assistant roster for emergency surgeries at Richmond Hospital.
Richmond Hospital is a fully accredited, 228-bed acute care facility serving a local population of 200,000, with an additional catchment area of nearly 120,000. The hospital focuses on meeting the needs of its community and is seeking Physicians interested in Surgical Assistance in the Operating Room to support emergency services. The successful candidate will join the Emergency Slate On Call Group for Surgical Assistants within the Department of Family Medicine or Surgery (if not a family physician) and will participate in a call rota. There may also be future opportunities for elective scheduled surgeries.
Qualified candidates must meet minimum call demands and participate in orientation, shadowing a current on-call surgical assistant or designate during onboarding.
