Job summary

SaskAbilities is hiring a Support Worker for the Quality of Life Day Program in Saskatoon. You will support adults with disabilities in on-site and community activities, ensuring a safe, engaging environment and assisting with transportation as needed.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driver’s license and background checks are required. This temporary full-time role runs through December 31, 2026.

Qualifications

  • Disability or Rehabilitation Support Worker Certificate or related training/experience.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Valid First Aid/CPR/AED Certification or willingness to obtain within three months.
  • Additional courses such as TLR and PART would be considered an asset.
  • One year experience in related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work effectively with individuals experiencing disabilities, coworkers and community partners.
  • Open minded creative, effective time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Final candidates to provide satisfactory criminal record checks including a vulnerable sector search.

Responsibilities
