Panasonic Canada Inc. supports a hybrid work model, offering flexibility to balance personal and professional needs. Employees can work remotely, in the office, or on a compressed schedule based on business requirements. Office work is based at our Ambler Drive Office in Mississauga, ON.

Supply Planner Role

This full-time position involves preparing and finalizing monthly and weekly Supply Plans for Consumer Products, utilizing Demand Plans from IBP, and coordinating with Sales and Marketing teams. The role includes managing purchase orders, ensuring alignment with forecasts, liaising with factories, and coordinating with Customs and Transportation to ensure timely product delivery. The Supply Planner will also develop and review supply strategies, manage inventory levels, communicate plans and changes, and support procurement and system data accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and review Supply Plans, verify order quantities, and propose improvements.
  • Adjust safety stock and turnover days based on demand analysis and customer needs.
  • Communicate forecasts and inventory estimates to management, resolve errors, and optimize the supply plan.
  • Finalize and distribute supply plan data for review meetings and provide support during these meetings.
  • Ensure data accuracy, including MOQ and lead times, and execute the supply plan to meet organizational and customer needs.
  • Place purchase orders, expedite shipments, and coordinate with factories and logistics providers.
  • Advise sales and marketing on inbound date changes and supply issues, and manage related documentation.
  • Maintain and update product setup data, ensure QA inspections, and address system errors.
  • Prepare reports, process inventory and transfer requests, and support data maintenance and ad-hoc reporting.
Qualifications
  • Community College diploma or certificate (2 years).
  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience.

  • Good interpersonal skills for effective communication and rapport building.
