Responsibilities
  1. Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services
  2. Assess requirements of the organization to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies
  3. Negotiate offers from suppliers
  4. Consult with suppliers and review quotations
  5. Determine contract terms and conditions, and award contracts to appropriate parties
  6. Establish and monitor delivery schedules
  7. Resolve problems with clients and suppliers
  8. Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics
  9. Provide excellent customer service
