Job Posting - Supply Chain Manager - Toronto

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join the growing team in our Toronto office. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role will be responsible for managing EXACT’s global supply chain activities, including strategic and tactical involvement in materials sourcing and procurement, managing contract manufacturers, inventory management, import/export and other logistics. This position will play a critical role in supporting cost optimization and efficient day-to-day production, ensuring on-time delivery of EXACT’s products to our customers.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  1. Overseeing all aspects of EXACT’s supply chain cycle, including inventory optimization, production scheduling, sourcing, forecasting and demand planning, storage, shipping, delivery, and process management;
  2. Managing supplier relationships;
  3. Measuring and reporting operational and financial performance of supply chain activities;
  4. Ensuring that the ERP system is updated and accurate;
  5. Escalating quality issues and taking appropriate action;
  6. Regularly updating the team on the status of orders via live dashboards and urgent communications, as necessary.

To be successful, you have:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in supply chain management;
  • General knowledge of, and experience with, various supply chain management functions including: sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, logistics, demand planning, inventory management;
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and data reporting;
  • Intermediate or better Google Sheets and/or Excel capabilities;
  • A can-do attitude and an ability to perform effectively under pressure;
  • Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams;
  • Willingness to communicate after-hours with international suppliers and vendors across;
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally to vet suppliers is preferred;
  • Experience in a technical, electronics manufacturing environment is strongly preferred;
  • Degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is nice to have;
  • APICS CPIM, CSCP or SCMP designation (or working towards designation) is nice to have;
  • Mandarin language is nice to have.

Our Workplace

This role is in-person, on-site at our head office in Toronto. Our office is located at Dupont and Dovercourt in a historical industrial building that is open concept with 40-ft ceilings and lots of natural light. Free parking is available on-site and our location is easily accessible via transit.

Our head office, engineering and assembly is in Toronto. We also have remote offices and team members in Canada and the USA.
