Job summary

AgeCare is offering a hands-on SCM Co-Op position located at our Calgary headquarters. This role provides real-world exposure to sourcing, contracts, purchasing, logistics, compliance, and legal aspects within a supportive team environment.

You will organize spend data, maintain the contract database, and help standardize procurement policies while coordinating with the Supply Chain Manager to resolve issues and implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in SCM, Business, or related field.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented and highly motivated with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Organize and analyze spend data, providing insights into category spend by contract, region, and site.
• Contribute to the management of the contract database by updating contract inventories and creating metadata for each contract.
• Assist in documenting and updating supply chain policies and procedures to standardize practices across the organization.
• Work with stakeholders to identify process improvements for contract management, enhancing communication and efficiency.
• Provide general support to the Supply Chain Manager, including troubleshooting and resolving supply chain issues.
