Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Supply Chain Co-op/Intern for a 4-month term in Kentville, Nova Scotia. You will engage with hourly associates, support data collection and process improvements, and gain insight into production and distribution operations across sites and DCs.

Ideal candidates are 2nd–4th year students in Engineering, Operations/Logistics or Business Management with leadership experience and strong analytical/problem-solving skills. Relocation flexibility is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Operations/Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Business Management.
  • Proven people/project leadership throughout your academic career (on- or off-campus).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an unstructured environment with the ability to make tradeoff decisions quickly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility for relocation will allow for greater advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Gain an understanding of various supply chain functions and disciplines.
  • Receive opportunities to build affiliation with associate peers and interact with senior leadership.
  • Assist in the analysis and development of supply chain metrics and business processes.
  • Report findings to other team members and management as required.
  • Learn to manage production staff to attain production and quality goals.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating team meetings to achieve continuous process improvement.
  • Organize and facilitate work team meetings (examples: pre-shift, roundtables, etc.).
