Position Summary:

Executes fulfillment plans for a specified division utilizing GFS forecasting/replenishment system and other software applications. Manages inventory and develops strategies to improve customer in-stock performance, inventory turns, and product loss. Acts as the primary supplier contact for inventory and supplier-related needs.

Milton, ON

Work Model:

Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day from home)

Essential Functions:
  1. Executes inventory management activities for product conversions, seasonal/one-time buys, long-term, and obsolete inventory.
  2. Collaborates with suppliers to resolve quality and service issues; expedites deliveries as needed.
  3. Monitors market conditions, weather, seasonality, and product availability to maintain perishable inventory while minimizing loss.
  4. Utilizes fulfillment software to optimize service levels and minimize spoilage and liquidation of perishable items.
  5. Develops and maintains seasonal plans using fulfillment software.
  6. Coordinates with suppliers, Traffic, and Receiving to ensure proper inventory flow into distribution centers.
  7. Releases Purchase Orders and replenishes inventory.
  8. Implements and maintains business rules for service levels, safety stock, buy multiples, and inbound freight networks.
  9. Performs vendor analysis regularly to improve service levels, reduce spoilage, and optimize inventory sizing.
  10. Works with Merchandising and Multi-Unit Teams on product transitions, introductions, and discontinuations.
  11. Supports enterprise procurement philosophies and divisional objectives.
  12. Continuously improves professional skills related to supply chain systems, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned.
