Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Supply Chain Intelligence & AI Analyst for a 1-year contract. This remote role across Canada prioritizes EST hours and focuses on data intelligence, AI-driven automation, and supplier engagement to improve lead times, capacity, and supplier performance.

You will collaborate with suppliers and Global Supply Managers to transform complex data into actionable insights, build dashboards, and drive visibility using AI tools.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Planning, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of lead times, capacity planning, manufacturing readiness, supplier performance.
  • Experience working with suppliers to collect, validate, and manage operational data.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to analyze data and generate insights.

Responsibilities

  • Engage suppliers via calls and email to collect missing information and meet deadlines.
  • Leverage AI tools to automate data pulls, generate insights, and build dashboards.
  • Partner with Global Supply Managers to translate business needs into reporting solutions.
  • Ensure data quality and provide actionable supplier performance visibility.

Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Supply Chain Intelligence & AI Analyst for a 1-year contract, remote across Canada, with preference for candidates working EST hours. This role sits at the intersection of supply chain operations, supplier engagement, data intelligence, and AI-driven automation. The successful candidate will partner closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure critical supply chain data related to lead times, capacity, manufacturing readiness, and supplier performance is accurate, complete, and actionable. A large portion of the role will involve proactively engaging suppliers through calls and email communication to collect missing information, manage deadlines, resolve data gaps, and ensure reporting remains current. The analyst will leverage AI tools to automate recurring data pulls, generate insights, create dashboards and reporting views, and solve business challenges. This individual will work closely with Global Supply Managers to understand business needs, transform complex data into meaningful recommendations, improve data quality, and drive visibility across supplier operations. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working independently, naturally curious, and experienced using AI tools to accelerate problem solving and operational efficiency.

Skills and Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Planning, Supplier Management, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of supply chain metrics including lead times, capacity planning, manufacturing readiness, supplier performance, and on-time delivery
  • Experience working directly with suppliers to collect, validate, and manage operational data

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience driving supplier accountability through follow-up, deadline management, and issue escalation
  • Proven ability to identify data gaps, investigate issues, and solve business problems independently
  • Hands‑on experience leveraging AI tools to analyze data, automate workflows, and generate insights
  • Experience creating automated reporting processes, recurring data pulls, dashboards, or business intelligence outputs using AI-enabled tools
  • Ability to translate business questions into actionable insights and reporting solutions
  • Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing large datasets and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
  • Demonstrated curiosity and resourcefulness, with the ability to learn new tools and solve unfamiliar problems using AI – Experience supporting infrastructure, hardware, manufacturing, or data center supply chains
  • Experience with business intelligence, reporting, or visualization tools
  • Experience implementing AI-driven process improvements within supply chain or operations organizations
  • Familiarity with large-scale technology or engineering environments
  • Experience building executive‑ready presentations and supply chain insights for leadership teams
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, connectivity, power, or cooling supply chain categories
  • Exposure to supplier performance scorecards and supplier readiness programs
  • Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides
