Job summary

RBC Wealth Management is seeking a Supplier Risk Manager to drive Third-Party risk governance, incident management, and SOC reviews across the WM portfolio. You will coordinate governance activities, support due diligence, and produce risk reporting to regulators and leadership.

You will collaborate with global WM teams and procurement to ensure policy rollout, process improvement, and audit readiness, while maintaining strong governance discipline and clear escalation paths.

Qualifications

  • Education: Business Administration degree or equivalent field.
  • Experience: 3+ years in Supplier/Third-Party Risk, and/or Operational Risk.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of third-party risk governance frameworks and escalation protocols.
  • Governance: Knowledge of governance decision-making, audit requirements, and documentation standards.
  • Analytical: Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Communication: Ability to influence without authority and present to varied audiences.
  • Organizational: Advanced organizational and process discipline.
  • Technical: Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Support supplier governance and oversight activities throughout the Third-Party life cycle to ensure risks are assessed and documented.
  • Provide support for Third-Party and Non Supplier Third Party due diligence and incident management.
  • Perform Third-Party SOC reviews including gap analysis, remediation tracking, and audit evidence maintenance.
  • Maintain governance decision tracking and escalation documentation to support audit readiness.
  • Support Third-Party incidents, including outreach to stakeholders, remediation coordination, and resolution tracking.
  • Coordinate escalation and maintain incident documentation and closure evidence.
  • Support change management activities to facilitate rollout of enterprise policies, standards, processes, and tools updates.
  • Identify and support improvements across the Third-Party arrangement portfolio and incident response processes.
  • Support continuous improvement in governance frameworks and operational processes.
  • Collaborate across global WM and other RBC Business Platforms, including procurement and supplier management offices.
  • Prepare ad hoc and scheduled Third-Party Risk reporting and compliance metrics.
  • Support governance reporting and communication on escalations and risk status
