Taps Public House is hiring for a Supervisor - Server hybrid position!

Taps Public House, a renowned restaurant in Mississauga, Ontario, is looking for a motivated individual to join our team in a hybrid role as both a supervisor and server. As a key player in our establishment, you will have the opportunity to oversee and enhance the overall guest experience, ensuring that every visit is memorable. This role would be split up throughout the week providing opportunities to both serve and supervise the floor, providing valuable growth and experience opportunities for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do:

As a Supervisor-Server Hybrid, you’ll play a dual role: providing top-notch guest service on the floor and supporting the management team in leading day-to-day operations. You’ll help set the tone for a seamless dining experience—leading by example and being a go-to support for your teammates.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver outstanding guest service with professionalism and personality
• Support floor operations and lead shifts in the absence of senior managers
• Mentor and assist servers and hosts to ensure consistency in service
• Handle guest concerns with a calm, solutions-focused approach
• Monitor table sections, service standards, and timing of food and beverage delivery
• Help with training new team members and upholding company policies
• Contribute to team energy and help maintain a clean, efficient work environment

Who You Are:

• A natural leader with strong communication and people skills
• Passionate about hospitality and committed to guest satisfaction
• Comfortable multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment
• Experienced in both serving and shift leadership roles (2+ years preferred)
• Smart Serve certified and familiar with POS systems (we use TouchBistro)
