Supervisor, Production – 2nd Shift

Ontario, CA (USA)

Onsite, Monday - Friday, 1:30PM - 10:30PM

Pay Range: $85,000 - $100,000

As a Supervisor, Production, you will manage a small staff of subordinate employees. You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees. You will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. You must have a strong background in continuous improvement, safety, and demonstrate strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all aspects of the production operation. Provide leadership and direction for the shift.
• Foster safe communication among peers and across shifts. Develop plans to help production team members achieve company and personal goals.
• Manage weekly time cards and PTO approvals while maintaining production output. Ensure employee time and attendance policies are followed. Manage overtime within the structured limits.
• Implement disciplinary actions according to company policy and guidelines.
• Operate and monitor equipment and processes to produce quality products according to the schedule. Troubleshoot issues, identify opportunities for improvements, and communicate findings. Make adjustments to optimize performance.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, LSRs, policies/procedures, and work processes.
• Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for production, including labor productivity, process adherence, lead time, and quality.
• Participate in new project implementations, providing feedback on progress and outcomes.
• Support initiatives to improve processes, KPIs, inventory levels, and operational costs across the supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SHE standards, and external regulations.

You bring:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher with at least 5 years of operational leadership experience and expertise in continuous improvement initiatives
• Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily
• Strong planning, prioritization, and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and team collaboration skills
• Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Experience with SAP; familiarity with OMP or similar systems is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English
