The Role: Reporting to the Kitchen Department Head, the Kitchen Production Supervisor is responsible for supporting Head Cook in providing guidance, supervision and setting as a good example for Kitchen Production Assistants to follow.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in food preparation or service
• Prior supervisory experience in kitchen/food production

• Kitchen Production Department
• Round-trip transportation costs covered by the employer to the place of employment at the beginning and the end of the contract

Ability to Supervise
5-10 people, Kitchen Production Assistants

Transportation/Travel Information
• Public transportation is available

Specific Tasks
• Supervise the kitchen production processes
• Provide guidance and supervision to Kitchen Production Assistants, coordinate and schedule the work activities
• Ensure the correct quantity of assigned products are produced based on orders received
• Produce, conduct package and quality check of final products according to specifications
• Manage product food safety and ensure “First-In, First-Out” (FIFO) is strictly practiced within the department
• Maintain inventory records, and familiar with product ordering, its process and execution
• Control product quality (e.g. BBQ, Hot Foods, Dim Sum and/or other Semi-finished products), inventory level and wastage
• Provide training to Kitchen Production Assistants and provide feedback on staff performance
• Lead by example by performing duties of Kitchen Production Assistants as required
• Assist in execution of the cleanliness, hygiene, equipment and tools maintenance follow up and workplace safety of the production area
• Participate in new product research and development process, encourage innovations
