Job summary

ParaMed in Canada is seeking a Supervisor of Coordination to lead the Coordination team and support operational excellence in an assigned branch. You will oversee training, onboarding, coaching, and performance management while ensuring coverage for patients and adherence to schedules.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of post-secondary education and 1-3 years of supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; with proven skills in Word and Excel.
  • Keen attention to detail, ability to prioritize, multitasking skills and organizational skills.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Experience in the health care field an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-depth training and onboarding education for new coordination staff.
  • Monitor and provide coaching and performance management to coordinators.
  • Run and review daily, weekly monthly reports and provide action plans to reduce missed care.
  • Create and maintain work schedules for coordination team.
  • Work with coordination teams to ensure all vacation and time off requests have coverage for patients in consultation with supervisors.
  • Monitor key metrics such as missed care, canceled visits, and referral acceptance and hold coordination team accountable to meet set targets.
  • Review tracking tools and follow up with Coordinators to ensure compliance.
