Alterra Mountain Company in Blue Mountains, ON, seeks a Supervisor for Mountain Adventures during the winter season. The role focuses on training content and day-to-day operation of the winter attractions, ensuring high guest and staff experience.

You will work with the Assistant Manager to align SOPs with safety standards and manage staff scheduling, payroll, and performance reviews. This is a full-time position requiring 2+ years in winter attractions and outdoor work.

They will work in cooperation with the Assistant Manager to ensure that the training content and standard operating procedure are both manageable for staff and are in accordance with the safety and service standard goals of these departments.* Working alongside staff in all areas of the operation.* Setting clear expectations for staff, motivate, coach, & recognize great performance. Implementing new policies and procedures and ensuring compliance; provides staff with the tools that they require to complete the job and/or task expected of them.* Monitoring the delivery of products and ensure quality meets the standards set by the department and the company; Handle customer service shortfalls and service recovery in coordination with the Assistant Manager.* Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of Payroll.* Assisting with on-boarding new employees, continuous training and evaluating performance; assisting with coordinating of staff to include hiring, scheduling, uniforms, rewards & recognitions, performance reviews and corrective coaching.* Preparing, executing and documenting a comprehensive training plan for the department.
