YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the General Supervisor - Mobile Maintenance, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. Your role includes ensuring good maintenance practices, overseeing preventive, corrective, and modification maintenance, and playing a key role in executing and following up on maintenance duties. You will also ensure that goals are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and environmental standards.

• Supervise a multidisciplinary maintenance team;
• Evaluate work order requests with the General Supervisor and organize weekly jobs according to schedule and urgency; plan and approve urgent maintenance as needed;
• Ensure proper execution of preventive and corrective maintenance work on schedule;
• Follow procedures in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations;
• Verify procedures before action, communicate clearly to the team;
• Review key performance indicators (KPIs), decide on corrective measures, and communicate these;
• Apply supervision principles and practices;
• Lead by example by implementing best operational practices;
• Ensure effective shift-to-shift information transfer.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Maintenance Technician/Technologist, Certified tradesman, or a combination of education (college maintenance program graduate) and experience; Engineering degree is an asset;
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in mining operations;
• Proficiency in maintenance planning software such as JDE (experience considered an asset);
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Note: The official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English.

Your Work Schedule:

• Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days off for transportation and rest;
• Accommodations and meals are provided on-site at no cost; charter flights are provided, and other travel expenses are covered based on your residence in Canada.
