Position Summary

This role supervises skilled trades personnel to ensure bottling operations meet targets. The Supervisor, Maintenance, emphasizes quality, safety, environmental standards, and product safety, reinforcing our vision for world-class maintenance. Responsibilities include managing maintenance tasks in bottling and material handling, focusing on lean maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act and company policies.
  • Maintain environmental, quality, and safety standards.
  • Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
  • Lead direct reports to meet cost-saving goals.
  • Support HACCP, GMP, and technical audits.
  • Facilitate effective communication across departments.
  • Promote maintenance lean concepts.
  • Manage work order and timecard processes.
  • Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance programs are followed.
  • Track and inspect trades work, maintain records via CMMS.
  • Oversee emergency repairs for timely resolution.
  • Manage manpower, payroll reporting, absenteeism, and vacation planning.
  • Develop a high-performance team through training and coaching.
  • Manage relationships with union members and trades.
  • Supervise bottling mechanics and apprentices.
  • Handle financial responsibilities for M&R and labor budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of HACCP and GMP.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with CMMS and manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Strong customer focus, team-building, and influencing skills.
  • Big picture thinking and innovation.

Education

  • College Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related trade certification.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, MMP or CMRP certification.
