Job summary

Cargojet is Canada’s leading overnight air cargo carrier seeking a Crew Travel Coordinator to support crew travel arrangements and travel policy adherence.

You will supervise daily Crew Travel activities, coordinate airline/hotel bookings, and monitor costs while ensuring safety and compliance. This role requires 1–2 years in travel services, a Travel and Tourism diploma, and strong MS 365 skills, with evenings possible. Join a fast-paced team at a market-leading company.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience as a travel consultant or experience in airline travel services.
  • College diploma in Travel and Tourism or relative experience.
  • Strong proficiency across the Microsoft 365 suite of applications.
  • Full understanding of airline rules and fares.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Must be willing to work evenings and extended hours, if required.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and perform well under multiple deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Crew Travel team, including workload distribution, training, guidance, and operational support.
  • Ensure company travel policies, procedures, booking standards, and applicable requirements are consistently followed.
  • Oversee and coordinate airline, hotel, car rental, and ground transportation arrangements for crew and other company personnel.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for complex bookings, travel disruptions, vendor issues, and other Crew Travel concerns.
  • Manage hotel and ground transportation requirements, including vendor communication, performance, sourcing, and rate negotiations.
  • Monitor travel costs, non-refundable tickets and unused credits, identifying opportunities to reduce travel expenses.
  • Oversee invoice, corporate credit card, hotel, and ground transportation reconciliations and maintain accurate supporting records.
  • Manage the MYID travel program and perform other Crew Travel duties as required.

Primary Objective Of The Position
Assist in all aspects of arranging corporate travel within Cargojet with a focus on crew travel.
