Job summary

Cargojet Inc. in Canada is seeking a qualified flight crew member to assist the Captain with flight planning, pre-flight tasks and in-flight duties, including take-offs and landings under Captain authority. The role supports safe, efficient operations across Cargojet's network.

Candidates must hold an ATPL or CPL with required exams, have at least 1000 total flight hours (including 250 multi-turbine), be eligible to work in Canada, obtain RAIC, and meet ICAO English level 4 proficiency.

Qualifications

• ATPL or CPL with IATRA or SAMRA & SARON exams passed
• Completion of 1000 hours total flying time including 250 hours multi-turbine
• Canadian Passport and eligible to work in Canada
• Required to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
• English Language Proficiency level 4 of ICAO's language proficiency rating scale

Responsibilities

• Carry out take-offs and landings under the Captain's authority
• Carry out other duties the Captain may delegate
• Assume responsibility of Captain in the event of the Captain’s incapacitation

Duties:

• Assist the Captain in the flight planning, preparation and management of the flight;
• Carry out take-offs and landings under the specific authority of the Captain;
• Carry out other duties the Captain may delegate;
• Assume responsibility of Captain in the event of the Captain’s incapacitation.

Requirements:

• A valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot’s License (CPL) with either IATRA or SAMRA & SARON exams passed;
• Completion of 1000 hours of total flying time including 250 hours multi-turbine;
• Canadian Passport, and must be eligible to work in Canada & Travel without restrictions throughout the Cargojet network. Any required work permits/visas or other authorizations which may be required is the sole responsibility of the candidates applying for this position.
• Required to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC);
• English Language Proficiency level 4 of ICAO's language proficiency rating scale.
