Job summary

FutureSSM is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage balance sheets, PL statements and internal controls. The role involves planning, setup of accounting systems and staff training in a full-time capacity in Canada.

The successful candidate will ensure accuracy, prepare financial information for various entities and provide advisory support on cash, tax and investment planning while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5 years or more accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Plan, set up and administer accounting systems.
• Arrange training for staff.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control.
• Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies.
• Develop financial plans for clients.
• Prepare reports and audit findings.
• Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement and estate planning.
• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices.
• Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure.
• Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation.
