MISSION

The Supervisor, Clinical Services oversees and coordinates the delivery of high-quality clinical care, implementing best practices and evaluating service delivery to ensure excellence in services.

The Pod Group partners with this organization to find a strong, strategic leader for the Supervisor, Clinical Services role.

PRIORITIES

  • Provide clinical supervision, consultation, and training to therapists, facilitators, and contracted staff to ensure exceptional clinical support.
  • Contribute to support services through team building, customer service, quality improvement, and risk management.
  • Offer expertise on high-risk cases, including risk assessment and crisis intervention.
  • Monitor client intakes to ensure high-level clinical service.
  • Identify training and professional development needs and develop/update program curricula with team input.
  • Support strategic plan implementation, monitor clinical activities, and ensure budget adherence.
  • Ensure understanding and adherence to clinical and administrative procedures, updating policies as needed.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with community partners on various projects.
  • Facilitate scheduling, audits, performance management, and quality monitoring.
  • Maintain clinical competence through ongoing professional development and training.
  • Stay informed about relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

TALENTS & EXPERTISE

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a relevant field; Master's preferred.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience, with leadership skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical treatment experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Current Standard First Aid, CPR, and CPI certificates.
  • Registration with OCSWSSW or CRPO.
  • Supervisory experience in a non-profit, unionized environment is a strong asset.
  • Proven leadership, mentorship, and team guidance skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic planning, team building, and facilitation skills.
  • Change management experience is a plus.
  • Flexible hours and rotating on-call schedule.
