Job summary

The Government of Yukon, Executive Council Office - Yukon Water Board Administration, is seeking a permanent, full-time Supervisor, Client Services in Whitehorse. The role oversees the administrative unit, ensuring efficient workflow and consistent service standards.

You will develop, implement, and manage administrative and financial programs to support the Secretariat and the Water Board, while coordinating with the Director, Advisors, and Licensing unit.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary coursework in business administration, office administration or related field.
  • Experience leading a team, developing and training employees.
  • Experience managing administrative processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Recent financial management, tracking budgetary needs and procurement/operations.
  • Experience maintaining paper and electronic filing systems.

The opportunity…

The Supervisor, Client Services reports to the Water Board Secretariat Director and is responsible for direct supervision of the administrative unit. Working collaboratively as part of the Secretariat Management Team, this position is responsible for ensuring an efficient workflow and consistent service standards.

The Supervisor, Client Services develops, implements, and manages all administrative and financial programs, services, and policies to facilitate the activities of the Secretariat and the Board, and supports the Secretariat's Director, Technical Advisors, and the Licensing unit. Additionally, the position is responsible for organizing and managing administrative, financial, and executive support to the Board.

Essential Qualifications
  • Completion of post-secondary coursework in business administration, office administration with a focus on administration and management, or other related fields.
  • Experience leading a team, developing, and training employees.
  • Experience managing administrative processes and procedures to ensure quality control and efficiency.
  • Recent financial management, tracking financial/budgetary needs, and procurement and operations management experience.
  • Experience maintaining paper and electronic filing systems.

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
