Job summary

Holman is a global automotive leader delivering fleet management, leasing, parts, and service solutions. This role leads 11 Accounts Payable admins, oversees CAD$1.34B in payments annually, and manages P&L for a key revenue-generating department.

The supervisor will coach staff, drive reporting, and optimize controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; SAP/Oracle a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to a team of 11 Accounts Payable administrators.
• Manage processing of payments and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Support audits and respond to inquiries from management and vendors.
• Develop and maintain controls to prevent duplicate payments and improve processes.
• Collaborate with IT to implement revenue-generating efficiencies.

What will you do?

• Develop your skills and reach your potential by being a part of an exceptional team of professionals, committing to stepping outside your comfort zone, and learning this sector of the automotive industry.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to team of 11 Accounts Payable administrators that process more than CAD$1.34B of payments each year.
• P&L responsibility of over CAD$30mm and integral member of a key revenue-generating department, as Holman is a business-to-business service provider.
• Coach and develop high-performers to take on more responsibility and new roles throughout the organization.
• Analyze and provide ad hoc reporting for Management, as required.
• Work closely with IT to implement additional revenue-generators and departmental efficiencies.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
• Assist with audit requests and testing procedures.
• Relationship management with ARI’s key network of vendor partners.
• Develop and maintain the appropriate controls to ensure that payments are made accurately and that there are no duplicate payments.

What are we looking for?

• Excellent people, leadership, and communications skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as a team member, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary diploma in Accounting or related fields
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
• 3+ year’s relevant experience with a proven track record of strong team leadership

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $99,490.00 - $141,770.00 CAD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
