Job summary

PriceSmart Foods is looking for a Supervisor at our Broadway location in Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate should have open availability for 40 hours per week, ensuring operational excellence and a positive team environment focused on customer service.

You will lead the store team, support department standards, and handle inventory. Interested candidates with retail experience and Food Safe Certification are encouraged to apply.

We are hiring a Supervisor at our Broadway PriceSmart Foods location in Vancouver, BC.

The successful candidate must have open availability and be available for 40 hours per week.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the store team, acting as a coach, mentor, and resource while fostering a positive team environment focused on Always Customer First service.

• Delivering operational excellence through customer experience, health and safety, food safety, merchandising, and front end operations.

• Providing support across departments as needed to maintain service and operational standards.

• Supporting with team member related initiatives as requested.

• Communicating key messages to the store team to ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Reviewing business/HR metrics and dashboards to monitor store performance.

• Supporting with implementing strategies to grow sales and customer loyalty.

• Supporting with inventory as well as department stocktaking as required.

• Performing all opening/closing job duties throughout the store as needed, including lifting weight (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods of time, and working in hot/cold environments.

You have:

• 2-4 years of retail experience.

• Leadership experience is an asset.

• Food Safe Certification.

• A post-secondary education in a business related field is an asset.

• Experience and/or knowledge with:

• Proficiency with computer applications.

Compensation Details:

$22.50 - $24.75

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
