Covenant Health is seeking a Supervisor, Accounts Receivable, to lead a remote AR team supporting operations across Covenant Health sites. You will manage staff scheduling, training, coaching, and day-to-day operations, ensuring accurate billing, cash receipts, collections, and reconciliations.
The role requires 7–10 years in billing and cash handling, 2–3 years of supervisory experience, and a diploma in accounting or related field.
Reporting to the Manager, Shared Service Accounting & Financial Reporting, the Supervisor, Accounts Receivable provides leadership and oversight for a remote Accounts Receivable team supporting Covenant Health operations across multiple sites. The role is responsible for staff scheduling, workload management, training, coaching, and day-to-day operational support, while ensuring accurate and timely billing, cash receipting, collections, reconciliations, resident trust accounting, and customer service activities. The Supervisor serves as a key liaison between Covenant Health Financial Operations, site-based clerks and program assistants, and Alberta Health Services, providing guidance on Accounts Receivable processes, Connect Care workflows, and financial procedures. The role supports process improvements, compliance with organizational policies and procedures, strong internal controls, and the delivery of high-quality Accounts Receivable services across Covenant Health.
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent required. A diploma in accounting from a recognized post secondary institution is required, a degree is preferred. Seven to Ten years progressively responsible experience in Billing, Cash handling, and account analysis as well as 2-3 years of supervisory experience. A combination of education and experience would also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience in health care sector. Experience leading in a Union environment. Experience with Connect Care and HRCM for billing purposes.
