Job summary

Magil Construction is seeking a Superintendent for London, Ontario and surrounding area. This full-time permanent role focuses on coordinating site employees and subcontractors, ensuring safety, and maintaining project timelines.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of site supervision experience, strong knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling and cost control, and excellent communication with a proactive, results-driven attitude. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of site supervision experience.
• Knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineer drawings and other documents.
• Sense of responsibility, initiative and accountability.
• Excellent communication skills and a 'get it done' attitude.

Responsibilities

• Be the "go to" person for all site employees and subcontractors
• Plan, coordinate and monitor performance to ensure the best quality and maintain project timelines
• Champion of on-site workplace safety
• Communicate all delays, issues and updates to the management team
• Take the lead on productivity issues and monitor work performance and efficiency of employees and subcontractors to ensure project plans and schedules are followed
