Join to apply for the Summer Warehouse Worker role at Bunzl Canada

We are currently looking for a Shipper/Receiver for a Summer Contract position with full-time hours, Monday to Friday day shift, from June to September.

The Warehouse Worker will perform various functions including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping, and managing stock in the warehouse. The ideal candidate should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

1. Pick customer orders indicated on pick tickets, wrap pallets, and load trucks for deliveries.
2. Wrap and label pallets for out-of-town deliveries and pickups.
3. Ensure products are stored in proper bin locations.
4. Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.
5. Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading.
6. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

1. Ability to read, interpret, and understand order information.
2. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
3. Understanding of meeting customer demands.
4. Basic computer skills.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Forklift certification and WHMIS training are advantageous but not mandatory.
7. Must have access to a vehicle to commute to the location (not on a bus route).
