Job summary

Paramount Resources is seeking a Corporate Services summer student to support the Corporate Services Department for a 4-month term starting May 2027. The role focuses on corporate communications, event planning, administrative tasks, and community engagement in our Calgary office.

Based in downtown Calgary, the role offers hands-on exposure to corporate operations, events coordination and engagement activities within a leading oil and gas company.

Qualifications

• Currently in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year enrolled in an Administrative, Communications, Corporate Services, or related program.
• Motivated, hard-working, self-starter with a desire to learn and make an impact in a leading Oil and Gas company.
• Confident in written and verbal communication; able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Covering main reception as a primary point of contact, representing the Company’s professionalism to visitors, vendors, and callers.
• Providing backup coverage for the mailroom when necessary.
• Assisting with the corporate giving program and other corporate fundraising efforts
• Assisting with corporate events & corporate communication
• Taking on ad hoc facilities, admin and corporate services duties as they come up

About this opportunity

We are looking for a Corporate Services summer student to work in the Corporate Services Department for a term of 4 months, starting in May 2027. Corporate Services is where events, communications, and workplace operations come together to create a great employee experience. This role will support with key responsibilities in corporate communications, corporate event planning, ad hoc administrative duties, and community engagement.

This position is based in-person, in our downtown Calgary office.

To be eligible for a Paramount Resources student position, you must meet the following requirements

• You are available to work the full duration of the work term
• You are currently residing in Calgary or willing to relocate for your work term
• You are legally entitled to work in Canada, without restriction by way of one of the following:
  • Canadian Citizenship
  • Permanent Residency
  • Valid work permit
