Job summary

MNP LLP in Calgary is seeking a Summer CPA Articling Student for a 4-month term starting in May 2027. You will contribute to the Assurance & Accounting team, working on compilations, reviews, audits, and tax, while developing IFRS/GAAP/ASPE knowledge.

Applicants are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration with accounting/finance emphasis, and CPA prerequisites. This role emphasizes client service, teamwork and professional growth in a Canadian firm.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration, accounting or finance major preferred.
• Pre-admission prerequisites for CPA Professional Program after graduation.
• Experience with accounting/tax software is an asset.
• Previous accounting office experience and customer service experience are assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical skills in compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping and tax.
• Apply knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and ASPE.
• Set up files for new clients and manage multiple files
• Perform accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset management and payroll walk-throughs.
