Job summary

The Salvation Army operates Pine Lake Camp in Alberta and seeks a dedicated manager to oversee year‑round hospitality and property functions. The role focuses on off-season rentals, seasonal RV bookings, and coordinating food services in alignment with health regulations and Canada Food Guide.

Responsibilities include budgeting support, risk management, staff training, and maintaining camp standards in consultation with the management team.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support the mission and vision of TSA within the context of PLC.
• Assist the Camp Management Team in the preparation of the annual PLC budget by providing information when requested.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of PLC, including risk management and security of PLC property.
• Ensure accreditation requirements of The Salvation Army and camping associations are met including government regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, make recommendations and implement preventive measures.
• Hire, orient, train, evaluate and recognize staff following standards.
• Maintain camp appearance and property upkeep in consultation with the Camp Management Team.
• Assist with inventory and quarterly pantry/freezer reviews.
• Oversee the Camp canteen and food services operations with summer staff.
