Job summary

Sundance campground, part of Basecamp Resorts, is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Alberta. The role leads all maintenance activities, coordinates with the General Manager and facilities team, and ensures safe, guest-ready operations year-round.

It offers a clear path to improve asset longevity and operational efficiency. The position is full-time with weekend availability and the option for on-site living or commuting.

Qualifications

• Experience managing facility maintenance programs for large properties.
• Ability to develop long-range maintenance plans and budgets.
• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a 3–5 year capital maintenance plan aligned with brand standards.
• Oversee daily maintenance operations across campground assets and supervise contractors.
• Lead budgeting, CAPEX, and monthly maintenance reporting to leadership.
• Coordinate with General Manager and Director of Facilities to align priorities.
• Maintain a centralized maintenance tracking system and ensure safety compliance.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and preventative maintenance thinking.
