Horizon School Division is seeking substitute teachers for all grade levels across the division, including Hutterite Colony Schools.

Substitute applicants must provide a cover letter and a resume with evidence of a current, valid Alberta Teaching Certificate, letters of reference, practicum or school system teaching reports, and background checks. Potential substitutes will be interviewed before approval.

Job description

We are presently seeking substitute teachers at all grade levels for across the School Division, including Hutterite Colony Schools.

Substitute Teacher applicants are asked to provide the following:

• A cover letter indicating that you are applying for a substitute teaching position
• A resume which should include:
• Evidence of a current, valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
• Letters of reference
• Practicum or school system teaching reports
• RCMP/Police Vulnerable Sector Check from within the last six months
• Child Intervention Record Check (from Child and Family Services) from within the last year
• Other information which would support your application

Prior to approval, potential substitute teachers will be interviewed.
