Qualifications

• Must complete substitute teacher forms in full.
• Alberta Teaching Certificate must be uploaded to profile.
• 3 professional references with email contact information.
• Cover letter addressed to Assistant Superintendent Human Resources.
• Resume with teaching experience and placements (IFX/AFX).
• Original Criminal Record Check within the last 6 months.
• Original TQS statement or copy if already issued; if not yet issued, provide letter.
• Statements of Years of Experience from previous employing boards.
• TD1 forms for federal and provincial tax credits.

Responsibilities

• BTPS uses the EasyConnect call-out system to book substitutes.
• Substitute teachers complete monthly timesheets at each school you sub at.
• Payroll is processed by the central office with payments following month."
• Notify payroll in writing of changes to name, phone, address, or banking details.
• Maintain the substitute list and ROE when leaving or accepting a position.
