Job summary

Northland School Division seeks Substitute Teachers for Anzac Community and Bill Woodward Schools for the 2024-2025 school year. The positions support Cree language/culture revitalization and community engagement in the rural Anzac area, located about 50 kilometres south of Fort McMurray.

Qualified candidates hold Alberta teaching certification and a BEd, with prior rural/Indigenous teaching experience. A criminal record and child intervention check are required; there may be an opportunity for

• Successful years of teaching experience in rural and/or Indigenous communities.

Additionally, should the successful applicant receive a successful evaluation, there may be an opportunity to receive a continuous contract.
