Job summary

Northland School Division is seeking a Substitute Teacher for Calling Lake School in Calling Lake, Alberta for the 2024-2025 school year. The Kindergarten to Grade 12 school is located in Calling Lake, offering a tranquil community setting 60 km from Athabasca and 200 km from Edmonton.

The role requires Alberta teaching certification, a BEd, and experience in rural/Indigenous communities. Successful candidates may have opportunities for continuous contracts based on evaluation.

Qualifications

• Must hold Alberta teaching certification and a Teaching Quality Standard (TQS) certificate.
• Bachelor of Education (BEd.) required.
• Successful years of teaching experience in rural and/or Indigenous communities preferred.
