• Represent Saskatchewan Polytechnic as an executive member of the Saskatchewan Universities and Technical Institute Liaison (SUTIL) and the Post-Secondary Education Committee (PSE).
• Develop and execute targeted high school outreach campaigns in Saskatchewan and Western Canada to increase awareness of Sask Polytech education.
• Travel extensively to schools and community organizations across Western Canada (mainly Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba) to connect with prospective students.
• Collaborate with other Saskatchewan Polytechnic schools and faculty to creatively showcase programs and services.
• Serve as the primary contact for prospective students, parents, guidance counselors, and community organizations, guiding them through educational decisions at career fairs, off-site events, and on-campus support.
• Provide informative interactions and personalized support via online, in-person, phone, email, and Zoom communications, demonstrating patience and active listening.
• Assist with application processes, including transcript assessments, eligibility, and providing guidance on portfolios and literacy assessments.
• Advocate for prospective students in the admissions process, addressing errors and proposing policy improvements to enhance access and reduce barriers, aligned with the SEM Plan.
• Identify and enhance key touchpoints to improve engagement with prospective students.
• Coordinate and facilitate campus tours and provide tour training to staff when on-campus.
• Promote inclusivity and cultural awareness through workshops and events aimed at diverse student populations.
• Support management of on-campus provincial events, including logistics and setup.
• Facilitate off-campus events and school visits, including planning travel and supporting virtual initiatives.
• Prepare and facilitate off-campus event booths and displays, working independently to adhere to schedules.
• Maintain a Recruitment Events calendar and coordinate internal and external initiatives, including career fairs and presentations.
• Deliver engaging presentations to promote Saskatchewan Polytechnic and build stakeholder relationships.
• Manage event displays and collaborate with departments to maximize event effectiveness.
• Facilitate inter-departmental communication to ensure consistent support and accurate information dissemination.
• Manage the Sask Polytech email account for timely responses to inquiries related to enrolment, admissions, awards, student services, and outreach.
• Plan and execute provincial travel for recruitment events, ensuring safety and logistical efficiency.
• Develop and maintain contacts using CRM platforms, tracking attendance and leads at events.
• Use data analysis to refine recruitment strategies and improve service delivery.
• Maintain accurate databases for prospective students and facilitate effective inter-departmental communication.
• Coordinate and distribute regular communications, including presentations and targeted campaigns.
• Develop, edit, and distribute marketing materials such as viewbooks and posters, ensuring alignment with market needs.
• Align recruitment strategies with the SEM plan and institutional goals through team collaboration.
• Implement evaluation tools to assess and improve recruitment programs and services using data-driven approaches.
Must be able to travel and possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license for travel between campuses, stakeholder visits, and off-campus events.
This role frequently requires lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects over 20 lbs. (without mobile or powered equipment).
