Seneca Polytechnic seeks a Student Recruitment Officer to promote programs and pathways to prospective students across secondary and non-secondary channels. You will travel to campuses, high schools and community locations, delivering engaging presentations and advising on pathways, transfer options, and admissions.
You will use CRM tools for lead tracking, participate in events, and partner with Marketing and academic areas to optimize recruitment.

Reporting to the Manager, Student Recruitment, the Student Recruitment Officer works as a member of the Seneca Student Recruitment team whose primary function is to promote Seneca programs and pathways, both private and public, to secondary and non-secondary prospective students. Through effective relationship building with external stakeholders (i.e., high school contacts and community agencies), the incumbent will deliver engaging in-person and virtual presentations to promote Seneca programs and services, offer ongoing one-on-one advising support to prospective students to increase enrolment, and effectively leverage Seneca contact management tool to manage lead information. The Student Recruitment Officer will promote active and ongoing participation in Seneca recruitment strategies, initiatives, and events.
This role involves travel to all Seneca campuses as well as off campus locations (such as high schools and community organizations).
Occasional overtime may be required for presentations or events, which can take place during evenings or on weekends.
A skills assessment test will be administered during the recruitment process.
A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered as equivalent to the above requirements in the event that there are no internal applicants that meet the qualifications as posted. Equivalency will be assessed by the talent acquisition team.
