Lake Country Co-op invites applications for three part-time Grocery Clerks (15-24 hours/week) at our Food Store location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, duties include stocking, customer service, receiving shipments, FIFO, and maintaining a clean store, with a focus on safety and service. The role requires ability to lift 25–50 lbs and a flexible schedule; Food Safe knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate customer-focused service across channels.
• Provide legendary service at touchpoints; greet and assist guests.
• Stock products, face shelves, and retrieve carts as needed.
• Receive supplier shipments; follow Food Safe and asset protection procedures.
• Monitor dates; adhere to FIFO for freshest inventory.
• Maintain a clean department, tidy shelves, bins, displays, and spills.
• Support Asset Protection and Safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, responsibilities for the position include the following:

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Serve guests, stock products, face shelves, and perform cart retrieval as needed.
• Receive supplier shipments and products while adhering to Food Safe and asset protection procedures.
• Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO).
• Maintain a clean department by tidying shelves, bins, displays, breakages, and spills, and keeping aisles free of debris.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
