Job Description

Are you looking to transition into or build a long-term, stable career close to home with one of Canada’s top employers? Ledcor Highways is starting work as MTO’s Highway Maintenance Contractor and seeks safety-oriented individuals to help keep highways and communities safe.

This entry-level opportunity offers fully funded training to upgrade your G license to a DZ license, enabling you to join our team for winter and summer operations. Successful candidates will develop skills to become safe and competent winter plow operators, with potential for full-time or seasonal employment, competitive wages, benefits, and career growth within our diversified company.

Minimum Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Valid G License without restrictions
• Ability to pass an MTO medical exam (to obtain DZ license)
• Safety-conscious with a commitment to quality
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks

Preference given to applicants residing in Wawa, White River, Chapleau, Agawa, Thessalon, and Iron Bridge, Ontario. Accommodation options are available for others.

Applicants must commit to a minimum employment term. Some shift work, on-call, and night shifts will be required due to weather conditions.
