Job summary

FCC, a federal Crown corporation, is offering a four-month Student Loans Analyst internship in Canada. The role supports documentation, workflow management, reporting and project initiatives within underwriting and lending teams.

You’ll collaborate with Loans Analysts and business partners to deliver excellent customer experiences. You will gain hands-on experience in commercial lending operations, data gathering and process improvements, while working in a bilingual English-French environment

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in agricultural economics, commerce, finance, agriculture, business or related post-secondary program
• Strong analytical thinking, organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in lending, underwriting, commercial financing or customer service
• Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset

Responsibilities

• Support operational activities, documentation preparation, tracking and reporting
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and workflow optimization
• Help teams respond to peak workload periods, seasonal volume increases and account reviews
• Support reporting, data gathering and project activities
• Assist with credit assessment and commercial lending transformation work
• Organize information and support workflow management activities that contribute to service levels and turnaround times

How You’ll Make An Impact

As a Student Loans Analyst, you’ll support documentation, workflow management, reporting, operational activities and project initiatives that help lending and underwriting teams maintain service levels and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You’ll be part of teams that support Commercial Agriculture Underwriting, Underwriting Business Financing and Commercial Lending operations, working closely with Loans Analysts, Senior Loans Analysts, and business partners. If you enjoy learning new things, collaborating with others, and gaining practical business experience, this could be the role for you.
