Job summary

FCC Canada is seeking a Student Loans Analyst for a fixed-term summer role to support documentation, workflow, reporting and project initiatives within Commercial Agriculture Underwriting and Commercial Lending operations. You will collaborate with Loans Analysts and senior staff to deliver reliable results and gain practical business experience.

The position requires current enrollment in a related post-secondary program, English language proficiency, and a 4-month term from May to August 2027

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in related post-secondary program (ag/econ/finance/business).
  • Strong analytical thinking, organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in lending, underwriting and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Support documentation, workflow management, reporting and project initiatives.
  • Assist with process improvement and workflow optimization.
  • Respond to peak workload periods and seasonal volume.
  • Support reporting, data gathering and project activities.
  • Assist with credit assessment and commercial lending transformation.
  • Organize information to support service levels and turnaround times.

How You’ll Make An Impact

As a Student Loans Analyst, you’ll support documentation, workflow management, reporting, operational activities and project initiatives that help lending and underwriting teams maintain service levels and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You’ll be part of teams that support Commercial Agriculture Underwriting, Underwriting Business Financing and Commercial Lending operations, working closely with Loans Analysts, Senior Loans Analysts, and business partners. If you enjoy learning new things, collaborating with others, and gaining practical business experience, this could be the role for you.

What You'll Do
  • Support operational activities, documentation preparation, tracking and reporting
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives and workflow optimization efforts
  • Help teams respond to peak workload periods, seasonal volume increases and account reviews
  • Support reporting, data gathering and project activities
  • Assist with credit assessment and commercial lending transformation work
  • Organize information and support workflow management activities that contribute to service levels and turnaround times
Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in agricultural economics, commerce, finance, agriculture, business or a related post-secondary program
  • Strong analytical thinking, organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in lending, underwriting, commercial financing or customer service
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with reporting, documentation or workflow-related activities
  • Interest in agricultural lending and credit risk assessment
  • Curiosity, adaptability and commitment to continuous learning
