Job summary

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for two Part-Time Student Grocery Clerks at our Food Store location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, you will deliver legendary service, stock shelves, and ensure fresh inventory by FIFO.

Ideal candidates are customer-focused, well-organized, and able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. The role offers competitive pay, benefits, and an employer-contributed pension plan in a supportive, diverse community

Qualifications

• Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and proud of the work you do.
• Strongly service-oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Well-organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with minimal supervision.
• Able to fulfill physical job requirements, such as lifting 25-50 lbs, standing, walking, and kneeling.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
• Possess a flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Serve guests, stock products, face shelves, and perform cart retrieval.
• Maintain a clean department by tidying shelves, bins, displays, breakages, and spills, and keeping aisles free of debris.
• Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO).
• Maintain a constant alert against the unauthorized removal of merchandise.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
