Job summary

Fidelity Canada is seeking a student co-op to join the FCC Operations team. You will perform day-to-day administrative duties, reconcile accounts, and create and analyze statistical reports to support client service and operational efficiency.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to the financial services industry, collaborating with Introducing Brokers and Portfolio Managers, while developing multitasking and workload-management skills in a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

  • Working towards a university degree with a concentration in finance, commerce, business, or economics is preferred (ideally completed 1st or 2nd year)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service focus
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
  • You must be currently enrolled in a registered co-op program to be considered for this position
  • You must also be available on a full-time basis for the duration of the co-op term
  • You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement

This part of Fidelity works with our clients (Introducing Brokers and Portfolio Managers) who hold various types of assets. Competitive Pay for Specialized Talent:

This contract role offers a flexible, hourly compensation model that reflects your expertise and the value you bring. The undergraduate hourly rate ranges from $23.00 to $27.00, based on experience and qualifications. We offer market‑aligned rates that recognize the specialized skills and agility required for this role. We’re proud to offer a compensation package that aligns with provincial pay transparency requirements.

Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.
