ARAMARK in Fredericton, NB, is seeking a Residence Dining Manager to operate the Student Dining Hall and supervise front-line staff. You will oversee day-to-day food service, ensure safety and service standards, manage staff scheduling and coverage, and participate in inventory and event setups.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of management experience in fast-paced food service.
• Inventory control and cash handling experience required.
• Experience with scheduling, recalls, and recruiting in food service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate, guide, and direct daily food service staff.
• Assist in recruitment, orientation and retention of staff.
• Ensure Customer Service Standards are maintained.
• Manage day-to-day operations with both union and non-union staff.
• Oversee HR issues, safety concerns, and disciplinary matters.
• Oversee cash handling, deposits and cash reconciliations.
• Assist with weekly inventory and stock management.
• Support staff scheduling and coverage for call-ins.
• Set up and break down catered event furnishings.
• Maintain daily temperature logs for fridges/freezers and OH&S compliance.
