Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed.
• Strong familiarity with the US university admissions process.
• Experience with Common App and US-based admissions timelines.
• Enjoys working directly with students and helping them achieve meaningful results.
• Direct experience with admissions advising or university counseling is a plus.
• Proven record of achievement in academics, work, or leadership.

Responsibilities

• Help students evaluate program fit, admissions competitiveness, and application strategies.
• Break down complex admissions requirements and simplify decision-making.

• Build confidence and help students develop long-term success skills.
• Use our tech platform and internal tools to track student progress.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a high-quality student experience.
• Continuously build expertise in US universities, programs, admissions strategies, and requirements.

Compensation and flexibility

• A remote, flexible role. It is a fit for a student completing a master's or PhD, someone looking for additional income beyond a full-time job, or someone seeking flexibility in their work life.
• Performance-based bonuses tied to student results.
• Effective hourly rate between $20 and $25 CAD per hour, depending on experience.
• We expect a minimum one-year commitment to your students. In return, we are flexible with your schedule as long as you are consistent and committed.
• Must have completed a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

The role

We are looking for someone who

• Has direct experience with admissions advising, university counseling, or applying to US universities
• Has a proven record of achievement in academics, work, or leadership
• Thrives in a structured, fast-moving environment with high expectations
