Job summary

Randstad Canada in Nisku, Alberta is seeking Structural Welders for day and night shifts. You will perform multi-pass welds on heavy carbon steel components and work with automation systems in a high-volume shop with long-term projects through 2027 and beyond.

Benefits include competitive pay of $36.00/hr plus $3.00/hr night differential, with overtime opportunities and a stable, safety-first workplace. Night shifts offer a 3-day weekend cadence.

Qualifications

  • Journeyperson Welder certification preferred; apprentices welcome.
  • Active CWB FCAW (Flux-Cored) ticket required for All Positions.
  • Experience in heavy industrial fabrication or large manufacturing plants.
  • Reliable team player with punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform multi-pass welds on heavy carbon steel columns, I-beams, and frames.
  • Ensure welds meet blueprints, CWB codes and quality checks.
  • Operate manual gear and robotic welding systems (training provided).
  • Coordinate with fitters and crane operators to move heavy steel safely.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work bay and proactively spot and remove floor hazards.

Location: Nisku, Alberta

Pay Rate: $36.00/hr + $3.00/hr night differential (Earn up to $39.00/hr!)

Schedules
  • Day Crew: Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM; Early Friday wrap-up (6:30 AM – 2:45 PM).
  • Night Crew: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM – 3:30 AM (Enjoy guaranteed 3-day weekends every week!).

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: Background in heavy industrial fabrication, structural steel, or large manufacturing plants.
