Your Contribution

Protostatix, a division of Englobe, seeks a Structural Technologist for our Edmonton or Calgary office.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the engineering team using Revit and AutoCAD to produce structural drawings and documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Demonstrating teamwork and ability to develop drawings based on instructions
• Understanding construction practices and informational requirements for effective documentation
• Managing multiple projects independently, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery
• Producing and reviewing drawings and specifications, adhering to industry standards
• Mentoring junior drafters based on experience
• Applying and promoting health and safety rules

Your Profile

• Diploma or degree in a relevant discipline
• Over 2 years of industry experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
• Knowledge of structural design and commercial construction is an asset
• Experience with wood construction is an asset

The candidate must be self-motivated, communicative, and capable of working within a multidisciplinary team to produce clear contract documents and manage project activities effectively.
